Wuyuan
I have been there three times and want to go again. The first reason is that I have not seen some scenic spots, and the second reason is that I have never taken pictures during the most beautiful seasons, such as the rapeseed flowers in Jiangling.
The photo was taken when I went to Huangling in early August 2017. I said I wanted to go and see the autumn sun in Huangling, but my friend said there was no way to enjoy the autumn sun in the summer. But the scenery is nice. Traveling also depends on your mentality. As far as Huangling is concerned, I think it is really worth staying for a few days.
　　
Wuyuan
It is a relatively mature scenic spot and was selected as one of the “Six Most Beautiful Townships in China” by China National Geographic Magazine. The main attractions can be divided into 3 lines:

  1. Eastern Front
    The ancient villages and pastoral scenery of the Ming and Qing Dynasties are dominated by the main scenic spots including Jiangwan, Likeng, Wangkou, Huangling,
    Qingyuan
    , rivers and mountains, etc., with small bridges and flowing water, houses, villages, surrounded by mountains, white walls and black tiles, and a scenic spot for viewing rapeseed flowers.
  2. Northern Line
    It is famous for its original ecological landscapes, including alpine valleys, surrounded by mountains, and numerous peaks. In autumn, the forests are dyed with color. The famous Rainbow Bridge is on the northern line to Nanjing.
  3. Western Front
    The ecological environment area with Yuanyang Lake as the main body is the world’s largest wild mandarin duck habitat. At Jinshan Ecological Tea Garden, you can pick, make and taste tea by yourself.
    In spring, the mountains are filled with red azaleas and rapeseed flowers.

    Best travel time.
    Wuyuan
    It is suitable for slow travel, seeing villages, nature, and breathing the natural air. I still recommend staying for 2 or 3 days.
