Hello friends, Huangguoshu Scenic Area is divided into three scenic areas: Great Waterfall, Doupotang and Tianxing Bridge. Generally speaking, if there are not many tourists, it will take about 6 hours at the fastest. 5 hours is a bit stressful. But it is obviously too wasteful to only visit the Great Falls.
The time to visit the Great Falls can be controlled within 1.5-2 hours, the Doupo Pond is about half an hour, and the whole trip to Tianxing Bridge is 3-4 hours (you can only play half the trip for about 2 hours).
If you don’t go to Tianxing Bridge, you don’t need to buy a 50 yuan scenic spot ticket. From the ticket center to Doupotang and then to Huangguoshu Waterfall, it’s not a long walk, and it takes just 5 hours to enjoy.
If you want to go to Tianxing Bridge, you must buy a scenic spot ticket, because it is more than 10 kilometers one way and walking is not enough.
As for whether Tianxing Bridge is worth going to, it depends on the amount of water. If there is a lot of water, it is highly recommended to go there. Just seeing the Silver Chain Falling Pool Waterfall is worth it.
If you are short on time, you can skip the first half of the Tianxing Bridge. The scenery here is relatively average, mainly including Shusheng steps, beauty trees, cacti, etc. It will take 40 minutes to complete the walk. There is only 600 meters from the gate to Gaolaozhuang. It is the second half of the journey and the scenery is much better.
Doupotang Scenic Area is very small, and the main attraction is a waterfall. It only takes half an hour to get in and out by car (if you abandon Tianxing Bridge, you can walk from Doupotang to the waterfall).
