On the first day, I went to visit the Tibet Museum. Unfortunately, it is closed on Monday. Is there any local museum that is closed on Monday? Thank you.
Answer: Public museums across the country are basically closed on Mondays. There is nothing we can do about this. Unless you are like Beijing and other places where summer museums have adopted a policy of not closing on Mondays.
You can take a look around the surrounding Norbulingka.
D1: If you can make a reservation to go to the Potala Palace in the morning, go to the Potala Palace (if you can’t make a reservation, go to Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple in the morning), learn about Tibet, and then eat in the evening After dinner, you can go to Potala Square and Yaowang Mountain to see the night view of the Potala Palace.
D2: Go to Norbulingka for sightseeing in the morning, and in the afternoon go to Drepung Monastery or Sera Monastery to watch scripture debate.
