In fact, when going to Jiangxi for the first time, many people will include these two as their destinations. Share a little personal experience:
Let’s talk about Nanchang first:
Relatively speaking, to
Nanchang
Tourism seasonality is not too obvious.
Several important attractions:

  1. The first featured recommendation: Tengwang Pavilion, one of the three famous buildings in Jiangnan. I don’t need to explain the historical and cultural background.
Today’s Tengwang Pavilion has been renovated and is much larger in size.
If you like photography, don’t miss the night view of Tengwang Pavilion, which is very beautiful and spectacular; and if you climb up at night, you can also see the night view of Honggutan opposite.
Looking at the scenery of Honggutan opposite from Tengwang Pavilion, it is a prosperous and prosperous scene.
  2. Nanchang
There is also a major feature, the red tourist city, so several major red tourist attractions must be visited.
    Bayi Square, Bayi
    Nanchang
    uprising monument
  3. Nanchang
The August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall, if you have children, it is very good to take them to learn about this period of history and their spirit.
  4. Of course, there are also very good spots in the city:
There is a great musical fountain in Qiushui Square. According to the information on the Internet, when it was first built, there were many firsts here!
    Not far from Qiushui Square,
    Nanchang
Star, which was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world when it was built in 2006, is now the fifth tallest Ferris wheel in the world.
Sitting on the Ferris wheel at night you can see the entire
    Nanchang
    night view
It takes about a day to visit these scenic spots.
The approximate route can be as follows:
    Bayi Square—-August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall-Tengwang Pavilion-Qiushui Square–Nanchang Star Ferris wheel for night view;
Of course, you can also go to Qiushui Square first, and then go to Tengwang Pavilion to see the night view of Tengwang Pavilion.
    besides,
If you don’t go there in winter, I would also recommend going to Meiling in the suburbs. It is a purely natural scenery.
    Meiling
    lie in
    Nanchang
It’s 15 kilometers away from the western suburbs of the city. It’s really great.
    Meiling
It is known as Xiaolu Mountain. It is also a famous summer resort.
    Recommended play time: one day
Transportation: Take bus 169 from the train station to get there directly
    Meiling
The bay is also very convenient.
I took bus No. 169 and got off at Cuiyuan, then changed to No. 217 and went directly to Lion Peak.
Also, if you will go in the summer too
    Nanchang
, then it is highly recommended,
    Meiling
    drifting!
It’s really super exciting and fun! It’s the most exciting, fun and awesome rafting experience we’ve ever had! Not one of them!
Unfortunately, I didn’t bring my GoPro with me at that time, and the camera was also stored, so there are no photos!
    Of course if you like
, you can also spend a day going to Wanda Theme Park
, which is of the paradise type. (The following two are official website pictures)
    Let’s talk about Lushan:
Recommended travel season: summer! Lushan Mountain is a famous summer resort.
Of course, that doesn’t mean you can’t go there in other seasons. As a mature attraction, every season has its highlights. It’s just that the relative temperature in Lushan Mountain is relatively low. So remember to bring clothing to protect you from the cold.
Recommended play time: two to three days.
It is highly recommended to stay for one night in Guling Town. Get up in the morning and watch the sunrise. Although it may not be as spectacular as Huangshan, it is still awesome. Moreover, the scenery of Lushan Mountain itself is more beautiful than that of Huangshan Mountain.
The best places to watch the sunrise in Lushan Mountain are Hanpokou and Wulaofeng. Hanpokou is the most spectacular place to watch the sunrise.
The scenic spots in Lushan are relatively scattered, and personally I don’t feel that the route of Huangshan is as obvious.
There are two more points to note:
  5. The Lushan Mountain Winding Highway is quite dangerous. It is recommended that if you drive by yourself, you park your car in the parking lot at the foot of the mountain and take public transportation from there. Safety comes first; and on public holidays, the roads will be more congested, which makes driving by yourself very stressful.
  6. The temperature on the mountain is much lower than at the bottom. Remember to bring clothes to avoid the cold. I went there once during the National Day and it froze me to death.
I posted my previous route for reference (it may not be the best, but it basically covers many of the main attractions in Lushan):
D1: Beishan Highway–Beishan Garden Gate–Xiao Tianchi–Wangjiang Pavilion–Huajing–Ruqin Lake–Overpass–Jinxiu Valley–Xianren Cave–Da Tianchi–Longshou Cliff–Wu Longtan–Huanglongtan–Lulin Lake–Lushan Museum– The former site of the Lushan Conference - Meilu - Lushan Love Cinema - Guling Street (This day’s itinerary seems to be quite a lot, just go through it and it doesn’t take too much time. Of course, everyone’s physical strength is different. You can make appropriate adjustments according to your own physical strength.)
    D2: Hanpokou, watch the sunrise, Botanical Garden-Wulaofeng-Sandiequan;
    Ruqin Lake
    Overpass
It doesn’t matter the order of the two cities. Go to one place first and then the other. Then you can drive directly between the two cities, which is very convenient.
That’s roughly it, I hope it helps everyone!
