Manzhouli, both China and Russia
- Arrive and check in to enjoy the night view
Entering Manzhouli, who is waiting for the lonely Ferris wheel?
The climate here is changeable, the temperature is low, and wind power generation devices on the mountains can be seen everywhere.
We arrived at the Manzhouli port. There is China’s largest timber trading market here. It reminded me of Bald Qiang in “The Bear” that my son loves to watch.
The architectural styles of China, Mongolia and Russia are mixed into one, with rich colors and unique styles.
Staying at a Phoenix hotel is absolutely affordable, so the chef recommends it. Mainly because it is very close to the night market.
The weather in Manzhouli is cold, so I want to eat a bowl of hot ramen at night. Look at the bowls at the Elephant Ramen restaurant there, they are quite affordable, and they also have potato rice bowl, which is amazing. I guess the potatoes are fried first, it’s so delicious.
The night market in Manzhouli City is brightly lit. Walking in the night market, I always feel as if I have gone abroad. However, I didn’t see many Chinese people. They were all Russians. I was shivering from the cold even though I was wearing a jacket. I looked at the little Russian girl who was naked. Their legs were wearing ultra-short hot pants and hot skirts, and they were really freezing.
I don’t understand why it’s so easy to get to a city in China from Russia. You see, the cars you see everywhere are their brands, or they have license plates from Mongolia. Why is it so complicated for us to go out when we are separated by a door.
I bought a bunch of Russian chocolates, blueberries, and big Russian matryoshka dolls, and went back to sleep.
- The mighty country gate
It was still cloudy the next morning. The most famous place for breakfast here is the Sanyuan Porridge Shop. It can be said that there are all kinds of breakfasts, and the potato shredded pancakes are the most delicious.
The national gate - our majesty
The first tourist attraction in Manzhouli is Guomen.
The boundary monument in the Guomen Scenic Area and the soldiers guarding it looked at him for a long time without blinking.
There happens to be a train passing through here to enter Russia’s national gate.
We regard the national gate as a tourist attraction, as if the Russian side doesn’t take it seriously at all.
A steam train left over from early Manzhouli.
- Playful and cute matryoshka baby
The second attraction you can visit in Manzhouli is free, which is Matryoshka Square. I feel like it is just like our Quancheng Square. It is good to take pictures and so on.
