In fact, the food is almost the same, but in terms of diet, it is indeed
Penglai
There are some unique flavors that I insist on.
- Accommodation.
I recommend staying at the B&B behind Sanxian Mountain. It is a large B&B area. You can book online, or you can walk slowly to find a B&B. There are also places for locals to live in the back part.
- Diet.
~Breakfast.
There is a breakfast stall in the morning.

Noodles, sea eggs, kelp buns, fennel buns, everything is delicious. The taste of sea eggs is different from the ones in the city. It seems to have a bit of seaside flavor. We didn’t understand it at first. We thought the eggs were bad when we looked at the color. But after taking a bite, it tasted really delicious. It is different from ordinary eggs.

The noodles are also very refreshing. The kelp buns and fennel buns are both strong in taste in the morning. They really have their own characteristics and are both delicious.
Dinner.
As for restaurants, I recommend an old restaurant called Shanyuange Restaurant, which is also behind Sanxian Mountain and west of Huaao Kindergarten. I don’t know if the kindergarten is still there now. It’s quite a big restaurant and can also host groups. Banquets can be held upstairs. The food at their restaurant is very generous, tasty and delicious, so there are a lot of customers, so the food is a little slow to serve, but it’s really delicious. Recommended seafood eggplant and fish ball soup.
You have to take the initiative to push the waiter when ordering at this restaurant. We were really hungry when we arrived. We forgot to take a photo when the seafood and eggplant were served. We were almost done eating before we remembered to take a photo. But this is the best seafood I have eaten in Shandong. The eggplant is very filling. We were also amazed by the fish ball soup. Although we only ordered 2 dishes, each dish was exquisitely made. You can tell that the fish balls are handmade as soon as you eat them. There are many ingredients in the fish ball soup: ginger, red dates and fungus ( You can’t see it in the photo (it’s all at the bottom) The cucumbers are a delicious combination of flavors. The mackerel dumplings and pumpkin steamed buns were both so big for the first time. My taste is on the light side, and most Shandong cuisine is on the salty side. Maybe Shandong people don’t think so. If you have dietary needs (such as not eating coriander or ginger, or wanting light vegetables), remember to tell the waiter when ordering
The breakfast place and the Shanyuange Restaurant are almost all on this street, which is where locals gather to make a living. The boss is very enthusiastic. After we had breakfast in the morning, we met the boss driving to the port, so he took us to the At the ferry port, they also taught us how to buy tickets, how to take the bus, how to get a cheap taxi, and how much it cost…
Snacks.
I remember coming back from playing in Long Island and getting off the boat to
Penglai
It was already past 1 pm near the pavilion, and I seemed to have missed lunch. Fortunately
Penglai
There is a stall selling egg-filled pancakes near the pavilion. I bought it and took a bite. I was really surprised. It was very delicious. Therefore, when you encounter a food stall, don’t hesitate to try it. Shandong people are good at pasta.
