Aden Scenic Area
"Daocheng" and "Aden" often appear together, so that many people are confused about the relationship between Daocheng and Aden. First of all, Daocheng is not a "city", but a "county" under the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, while Aden is a scenic spot in Daocheng County, which is about Daocheng County is 108 kilometers away. For most people, Daocheng County, which has few scenic spots, is a stop on the way to the picturesque Yading scenic spot.

snowy plateau
Daocheng is located in the Western Sichuan Plateau, with snow-capped mountains and glaciers, meadows and forests, streams and lakes. It has all the elements of a snow-covered plateau. The "Three Sacred Mountains" Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong, and Xianuoduoji stand in a tripod and are holy and majestic; Haizi Mountain, the world's largest ancient ice body relic, is covered with lakes and stretches as far as the eye can see. There are also warm and gorgeous red grasslands, green poplar forests, crystal clear milk sea, and five-color sea. They are all scenery that is "rare to see in the world".

Hiking place
Daocheng is revered as a holy place by hiking enthusiasts. It has mature and challenging hiking routes, including "Xiao Zhuan Mountain" that covers the essence of Aden, and "Da Zhuan Mountain" that hikes clockwise around three snow-capped mountains, as well as longer distances. The Aden-Muli and Aden-Lugu Lake crossings, whether beginners or professional hikers, can get the wonderful experience of "body in hell, eyes in heaven" here.

Shangri-la
Daocheng is known as "the last Shangri-La" and has Shangri-La Town under its jurisdiction. In fact, in addition to Daocheng, there are also places called Shangri-La in Yunnan, Nepal and Pakistan. Shangri-La may just be a utopian fantasy in the novel "Lost Horizon". Although we cannot say that Daocheng is Shangri-La, no one will deny that Daocheng is a paradise on earth that people pursue relentlessly and cherish forever.
