Introduction

Seda is located in the northeastern part of the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, bordering Dari and Banma counties in the Goluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province. It is a purely pastoral county dominated by Tibetans. Serta means "golden horse" in Tibetan. It was named after a horse-shaped gold nugget was unearthed in Serta in history. Before 2002, the roads here were not smooth, so the original living conditions here have been preserved. The small town is located in the farthest corner of northwest Sichuan. The terrain is complex, with vast grasslands, crisscrossing rivers, dense lakes and swamps, and towering snow-capped mountains.
