Dali is located at the junction of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and the Hengduan Mountains, with mountains of Cangshan and vast clear blue mountains.Erhai Lake, together form a magnificent picture of lake light and mountains.

Twenty-five ethnic minorities, including Bai, Yi, Hui, Tibetan, Lisu and Naxi, live scattered in ancient villages and towns such as Dali Ancient City, Xizhou and Shuanglang. Folk skills such as tie-dyeing and traditional snacks such as bait cubes fully display their ethnic charm.

The "Four Wonders" of Dali - wind, flowers, snow and moon::= are "Xiaguan wind, Shangguan flowers, Cangshan snow, and Erhai moon". =Xiaguan Wind: Xiaguan at the southern end of Erhai Lake is located at the pass, and the wind never stops; Shangguan Flowers: Shangguan at the northern end of Erhai Lake was once an open grassland with colorful flowers; Cangshan Snow: The top of Cangshan Mountain is covered with snow all year round; Erhai Moon: Above the Erhai Lake, the moonlight is gentle and charming.
